One of the most common questions I get about corrugated plastic is “how good is corrugated plastic for the environment?” Well, this is a great question! As a matter of fact it is such a great question that I am going to dedicate a whole post to answering it! First let me tell you what corrugated plastic is and what it is used for though. Corrugated plastic, much like corrugated cardboard, is when there are multiple layers of material together on top of each other. This makes corrugated plastic attractive to many businesses and companies because this extra layer makes it great for packaging and shipping materials. And these two uses are the most popular uses of corrugated plastic. However, since corrugated plastic lasts so long, that also means that it lasts a long time in a landfill. So in conclusion, corrugated plastic is not bad for the environment if people recycle.
